I’m putting together a trinket trade box in midtown 👀

Desert Goth Club and Tucson Love Letter are putting a trinket trade box at Sigfus Designs

I recently visited Midtown Mercantile Merchants to look for trinkets to add to our trinket trade box!

There’s a whole lot of trinket love happening in Tucson lately.

If you haven’t heard, local artist Darby Hunter recently unveiled Tucson’s first trinket trade box. It’s like a little free library, but for trinkets! Darby’s is inside the arcade at Golf N Stuff, 6503 E. Tanque Verde Rd.

Trinket trade boxes have popped up in cities across the nation, including several in the Phoenix area. I’m so happy they’re making their way to Tucson.

Of course, the love for trinkets doesn’t stop there.

In February, I posted an Instagram Story asking where you’d like to see a trinket trade box in Tucson — and the time has finally come! Desert Goth Club and I are officially putting a trinket trade box inside Sigfus Designs, 3264 N. Country Club Rd.

We’re hosting an unveiling and a trinket trade party from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, May 17. There will also be free crafts, coffee from Confia Coffee and trinket-themed flash tattoos from Bushido Studio. And if you’re unfamiliar, Sigfus is home to a giant charm bar where you can put together jewelry, keychains and more. The charm bar will have extended hours the day of our party!
