Not one, not two, but THREE free bookish events this fall as a collab between Stacks Book Club and Tucson Love Letter 📖✨
🎧 OCTOBER 11: Our Audiobook Walking Club is back! Meet us outside of Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress St., at 9:30 a.m. We’ll walk the 2-mile Turquoise Trail, which takes about an hour. Bring headphones and water and listen to your favorite audiobook as you walk downtown with us! RSVP on Stacks’ website for a chance to win a free audiobook credit from Libro.fm 📚
🎨 NOVEMBER 1: Inspired by similar events in NYC, we’re taking blind dates with a book one step further. Everyone will bring a book, wrap it and decorate the wrapping with clues to give others an idea of the title. All of the mystery books will be added to a pile and you’ll have a chance to take one of them home. 2-4 p.m. at the Coalition Space, 311 E. 7th St. Use our craft supplies or bring your own! RSVP on Stacks’ website so we know how many supplies to get 👀
🧺 NOVEMBER 15: Inspired by events in Europe, we’re throwing a Reading Rave! It’s like a rave except instead of dancing, we’ll be reading 📕 Think a community picnic where we’ll read in the park while listening to music. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Reid Park by the duck pond. Bring your own book, blankets/seating and snacks! RSVP on Stacks’ website so we know how many readers to expect 💕
