We’re going to the zoo! 🐘🦒
Join Stacks Book Club, Tucson Love Letter and Libro.fm for a night of audiobooks and zoo animals as our Audiobook Walking Club makes its way to Reid Park Zoo.
The zoo is opening its doors for evening adventures in a series they call Summer Safari Nights, happening most Saturdays this season. Our group will meet on Saturday, June 13.
Here’s what to know:
🐻 Participants are responsible for paying for their own zoo admission, which is $12 for ages 15-61, $10 for ages 62 and up, and $8.50 for ages 2-14.
🐊 We will meet inside the zoo by the gift shop at 6:30 p.m. We recommend arriving early — the zoo opens at 6 p.m. and the entry lines can get long. The zoo is located at 3400 E. Zoo Court.
🦁 Bring your own headphones — everyone will listen to their own books. Bring water and sun protection, too!
🦩 You’re, of course, welcome to stray from the group to look at your favorite animals! The zoo closes at 8 p.m.
